The Commonwealth Startup Fellowship, delivered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in partnership with Imperial Enterprise Lab, supports high-potential startups from low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries through a programme of learning, mentorship and network-building

This webinar will bring together Fellows, university leaders, educators and ecosystem partners to explore what founder experience tells us about:

  • the conditions needed to support entrepreneurship and innovation;
  • the role of universities in enabling entrepreneurial journeys; and
  • how ecosystems can better support inclusive job creation across Commonwealth contexts.

Why attend

The discussion will also serve as an early convening linked to the development of a Commonwealth Community of Practice on Entrepreneurship Education, providing an opportunity to:

  • contribute to shaping its priorities and direction;
  • engage directly with founders and their lived experience
  • identify practical lessons for policy, teaching and ecosystem development.

What to expect

  • Insights from Commonwealth Startup Fellows across sectors and regions
  • Discussion on ecosystem enablers and barriers
  • Reflections on the role of higher education in entrepreneurship
  • Opportunities to contribute to future collaboration and outputs.
